I worked with Alexis, a transformational coach, to assist in healing from the loss of my mother and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from my nursing career. I thought I would never live in California because it seemed too expensive, I wasn't smart enough to pursue a Ph.D., and I questioned how I could change healthcare. Alexis helped me remove these emotional blocks and past beliefs. Fast forward to today; at 45 years old, I have realized all of these dreams. I now reside in La Jolla, California, where I have developed education programs and policies, and conducted research that has changed healthcare.
